My name is Natalie Griffin and I am the Director of Recreation for the Village of Petitcodiac. In this new position, created by the Village Council in partnership with the Petitcodiac District Recreation Council, my job is to provide recreational opportunities for the community by offering enrichment classes, youth sports, opportunities to exercise, events and expanding our trail system.

The Recreation Department facilitates the provision of community programs, services, special events, and attractions that address the social, recreation, self-improvement, skill acquisition, and health promotion needs of the community. The Department's objective is to provide friendly and affordable programs and services that foster a sense of pride in the community and encourage participation in community programs and services inclusive of all ages, abilities and cultures.

We have partnerships with youth sports organizations, the Petitcodiac Boys and Girls Club, Petitcodiac Library, charitable organizations, and local businesses to increase our reach into the community. Please take advantage of the programs we offer, the events we host and specifically the new and upcoming trails of Renfrew Street and Maple Avenue.

I am also interested in hearing what you would like to see more of in the community. Please stop by my office and share your ideas for activities and events that you’d like to see here in Petitcodiac. I would like to meet the various needs and interests of all ages!

Please feel free to contact me @ 756-0289 or email

Look forward to seeing you around the community!
